EZ Grout Corporation History
Since its inception in 1998, EZ Grout Corporation has rapidly become a leading equipment manufacturer to the masonry and concrete construction market. EZ Grout products, well known for groundbreaking, labor-friendly designs and high quality standards, are now in use nationwide and abroad.
The key behind this success stems from the President/Owner of the company, Damian Lang, a lifelong innovative mason contractor based in southeastern Ohio. Prior to the onset of the EZ Grout Corporation, Damian started Lang Masonry Contractors, Inc. 25 years ago which now does over $8 million in sales annually. He has written a book called R.A.C.E. - Rewarding and Challenging Employees: For Profits in Masonry and writes the Contractor Tip of the Month for both major industry magazines. He is actively involved through his seminars and consulting with leading mason contractors and organizations to advance safety, quality, and production on the job site of every mason contractor. Damian remains committed to the masonry industry through every aspect of his life.
Through his masonry hands-on approach, Mr. Lang had long recognized the need for a better way to fill masonry block, more commonly known as wall grouting. Conventional approaches such as grout pumps were labor intensive and prone to mechanical failure. Grout bucketing was even more labor intensive and physically exhausting. Thus, the Grout Hog® was born.
EZ Grout didn't stop there. With feedback from his masonry crew’s and other mason contractors, Lang continues to find ideas to increase productivity on the masonry jobsite - not only for his own company, but for all mason contractors. He and his staff have turned these ideas into reality by developing a complete line of masonry products such as the Up-Hill Grout Hog®, Mud Hog®, Hog Slopper™, Hog Leg®, Hog Trough®, and Booger Hog®.
